New Zealand wrap-up
By IndiePix. Filed in Events, Festivals |New Zealanders packed all three screenings of WE LIVE IN PUBLIC in Auckland and Wellington. One Kiwi blogger who writes for The Dominion Post (Wellington’s major daily paper) couldn’t get the film out of his head, writing “I squirmed in my seat” and that he was “blown away by the film.”
While in the neighborhood, Ondi rocked the radio airwaves.

And Radio Wammo declared WE LIVE IN PUBLIC an Editor’s Pick and gave us a little blog feature: http://www.wammo.co.nz/2009/07/23/nzff-we-live-in-public/
Ondi also stopped into the studios of TV3 New Zealand for an on-air lovefest!
“The doco about one of the first dot com kids took a decade to shoot and was cut from a mind-boggling 5,000 hours of footage. To top it all off We Live In Public took home the grand jury prize at the Sundance Film Festival, making director Ondi Timoner the only person to win the coveted award twice.”

Hey Kiwis, your cigarette packaging may be disgusting...

But your country is beautiful!
Thanks for making the New Zealand Film Festival run of WE LIVE IN PUBLIC such a success. We can’t wait to return!
